Espace NAPAGA is an accredited museum located in the heart of the Gaspé Peninsula, on the archaeological site of Pabos. More than 18,500 artifacts have been discovered here, offering a unique insight into the daily lives of the inhabitants of one of the most important commercial fishing settlements in New France until the Conquest.
The main pavilion features a fascinating permanent open-air exhibition explaining the history of the site and its first inhabitants. Three exciting temporary exhibitions plunge visitors into the past using technology. URA - A Celebration of Water is an immersive, kilometer-long seaside trail that takes an enlightening yet dreamlike look at this vital resource. Go on a hunt for the ghosts that haunt the area in the Fantöm augmented reality trail. In the new escape game “Alerte aux Anglais!”, amid the War of the Conquest, try to escape the British soldiers who have come to set fire to the seigneury!
Savor the moment a little longer and enjoy Espace NAPAGA's extras. Take in the breathtaking views from the restaurant's evening shows. Stay at the peaceful Camping NAPAGA, with sites to suit all tastes and budgets. Not to mention 18 km of trails and beaches as far as the eye can see.
Espace NAPAGA is a lively place where history, culture, and nature meet. A must for a successful Gaspé vacation!
