We may have been warned by the promotional publications and the description on the Riôtel group's website, but the view that unfolds before us when we walk through the doors of the Paqbo restaurant dining room at RIÔTEL-PERCÉ is absolutely spectacular.

Located just below Côte Surprise, on Route 132, a short walk from the beach and on a site that offers a majestic view of the area's main attraction, Percé Rock, the hotel, formerly known as Bonaventure sur Mer, became the group's third acquisition in 2003 and has since been named Riôtel-Percé.
In addition to the main building, which houses the reception and Paqbo restaurant, the hotel complex offers two other adjoining pavilions for accommodation: Bonaventure Island and Percé Rock. Naturally, many rooms offer direct views of these two highlights of the local landscape. In addition, several balconies and a large outdoor terrace allow guests to enjoy the panorama at all times.

Local guests know that daylight contributes greatly to the ambiance of the place. From the moment the sun rises directly behind the rock to the moment it disappears behind the mountains to the west, after pouring its golden rays over the landscape, unforgettable moments are guaranteed at all times of the day. Since the Riôtel-Percé is a seasonal hotel, it's best to take advantage of all its benefits from late spring to mid-fall.
The establishment offers various room categories, ranging from classic to superior, including suites, rooms with kitchenettes, and family rooms. Most offer direct views of the Percé Bay panorama. Renovations carried out in several sections of the hotel between 2013 and 2019 have made it a superior establishment and ensure an optimal quality of stay.

Direct access to the beach makes it easy to take long walks to the nearby shops, cafes, art galleries, bars, and restaurants, while enjoying the never-ending panorama. Access to sea cruises to the Rock and Bonaventure Island—must-sees, it should be noted—is also easy, right next to the hotel.
Foodies and gourmands will be delighted to dine at the Paqbo restaurant for a Riôtel-style breakfast, or at the end of the day for dinner, in the dining room or on the outdoor terrace. You can enjoy an aperitif or simply a cocktail with friends or family. The Paqbo menu is similar to that of the group's other hotels in Gaspésie, although with variations to include local specialties. The culinary experience is remarkable, from appetizer to dessert: contemporary, maritime, and accessible cuisine. Treat yourself to the seafood scallop, the maple-baked ribs, and the key lime pie, among others.
In the evening, enjoy the last rays of daylight or the beauty of the starry skies, the salty air, and the sound of the waves around a campfire near the beach, alone or with other visitors.
